Dating in the Vale of Glamorgan

The Vale of Glamorgan (Bro Morgannwg) is an exceptionally rich agricultural area in the southern part of Glamorgan, Wales. It has a rugged coastline, but its rolling countryside is quite untypical of Wales as a whole. The Vale also boasts many tourist attractions which lure many visitors every year, these include Barry Island Pleasure Park, Vale of Glamorgan Railway, St Donats Castle, Cosmeston Country Park and many more. It is also the location of Atlantic College, one of the United World Colleges. It has been a county borough since 1996, previously being part of South Glamorgan. The main town and largest centre of population is Barry. Other small towns are Cowbridge, Dinas Powys, Llantwit Major and Penarth, but a large proportion of the population inhabits villages, hamlets and individual farms.

Rules for Online Dating

After reading the first chapters in this book I realised that some of the advice in this book would be valuable to a lot of women. Instead of writing stuff that sounds too cynical, deep, self-pitying, or too much like the blurb from a self-help book, it would be much better if women used short sentences and sounded confident and happy. If you were out and about and a man came up to chat, you wouldn't start telling him about your difficult divorce or that you find it hard to `let go' in a relationship. Instead you'd be light-hearted and bright - so why should it be any different online? The strict advice about not getting carried away with e-mail and instant messages also sounded good - I know about a few people who spend their lives instant messaging and trawling chat rooms - they don't have time for anything else and mostly never end up meeting their online buddies!
